AIBE Update Third Bar Exam on January 8 2012 Newly enrolled advocates permitted to conditionally practice law
According to the latest press release by the Bar Council of India, the third All India Bar Exam (AIBE) will be held on January 8, 2012.
According to the latest press release by the Bar Council of India, the third All India Bar Exam (AIBE) will be held on January 8, 2012.
The third AIBE is for new candidates, for Chennai aspirants and for students who could not clear the earlier AIBE.
Ashok K. Parija, BCI Chairman, in the press release said, “Keeping in mind the fact that newly registered lawyers would like to begin their practice quickly, the Bar Council of India has decided that for the purposes of the AIBE to be held on January 8, 2012 alone, newly enrolled advocates will be permitted to conditionally practice law in India subject to clearing the AIBE in January, 2012 and furnishing an undertaking to the concerned State Bar Council (SBC).”
According to the press release, from next academic year AIBE will be held regularly twice in a year during September/October and March/April.
The registration for the third AIBE will open from October 7, 2011 and the same will be closed on December 7, 2011. Application forms are available with State Bar councils and also online registration is possible.
Certificate of Practice for students who cleared the July AIBE will be distributed through SBCs from October 10, 2011.
The second All India Bar Examination 2011 was finally held on July 24, 2011 after being postponed once.

October 20, 2011 - 7:06amactually its good to think of well educated and able advocates for our society i have passed this first exam but its quite burdensome for students who have given their years and finally at earning time they are faced with this exam,it should be included into a degree course and divided into two parts primary and lastly but not after completion of degree course as its part of mentality that each and every student thinking and planing about his future strategies and when he is surprisingly stopped due to this exam he face mental burden due to that, it should not have been given retrospective effect, when person knows deepness of water then only it would be better to enter into, and additionally that aspect of books preparatory materials demand draft money is quite irritating it should be replaced with or should cost minimum cost as much as possible , it smells money earning policy like from framers...it should be better this exam should be into the course not outside that course after completion of all if the reason is to raise the lawyer's quality.

October 15, 2012 - 4:53pmSir I have cleared my AIBE held on 08/01/2012 at one of the centers in Bangalore ,but so far the COP has not been dispatched from Delhi AIBC, may I know why so much of delay is happening in disbursing the Certificate? I am eagerly waiting to receive my COP.kindly do something for sending the COPs for all those who cleared the AIBE held on 08/01/2012.
