Mumbai-based LPO, Integreon, has entered into an agreement with UK 'magic circle' firm, Simmons & Simmons, to provide a team of lawyers for document review, production and research. The release issued by Integreon states that they have entered into a 12-month agreement to provide offshore legal support services, including due diligence, to Simmons. Integreon has, as of now, appointed 5 lawyers for Simmons' work.
Simmons will outsource research and document review work, freeing their associates to focus on higher level legal efforts in order to provide greater value service for their clients. John Croft, president of global sales and marketing at Integreon said, "By outsourcing lower end work to Integreon, they will be able to focus more on their core legal business, serving their clients with the same level of quality they have come to expect over the years, but now at a significantly lower cost to their clients. We are also able to give them the flexibility to scale up and down as needed." Integreon will support the firm from its Mumbai facilities, cutting their costs by nearly 50 percent.
Simmons has offices across the world, including the Middle East and in Asia. However, this project will be piloted from its London office, and then rolled out as needed to other offices. Integreon, one of India's top LPOs, has been listed as the number 1 KPO (Knowledge process outsourcing) in the Black Book of Outsourcing for four consecutive years. Integreon's customers include many AmLaw 100 and UK top 50 law firms, almost all of the global investment banks, several top-tier private equity firms and hedge funds, as well as many Fortune 100 and FTSE 100 corporations.
