Delhi High Court gets Additional Judge

Mukta Gupta, standing counsel to the Delhi Government, will be sworn in as an Additional Judge of the Delhi High Court for a period of two years with effect from the date she assumes charge of her office.
Gupta has acted as counsel for the Delhi police on several high profile matters, including the Red Fort attack, the Jessical Lal murder and the Batla House encounter.
Mukta Gupta also assisted Solicitor General Gopal Subramaniam in the Parliament attack case in both the Delhi High Court and in the Supreme Court.
