National Law School of India, Bangalore (NLSIU) beat Nalsar University of Law at the 1st Antitrust Moot Court Competition conducted by the National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU). The moot was jointly organized by Delhi based tax firm, Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan, Competition Commission of India (CCI) and NLU.
The 13 colleges fighting for the honours included Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Gujarat National Law University, Gandhingar, Nalsar University of Law, Hyderabad and NLSIU qualified for the semi-finals. Shwetank Ginodia and Akshay Ramadurai comprised the winning team. The Bench deciding the final round comprised Justice Arijit Pasayat, Chairman, Competition Appellate Tribunal and Mr. Seetharaman S., Head, International Trade and WTO, Lakshmi Kumaran & Sridharan.
Nalsar’s Jaya Bhanu Rao was awarded the Best Student Advocate, while NLIU Bhopal won the best memorial.
