As per the Merger Market 2015 Q1 M&A League tables, the (undivided) Amarchand Mangaldas tops the league table by value with 11 deals valued at $5.2 billion while AZB & Partners tops the league table by deal count with 15 deals valued at $1.75 billion..Deal Value.PH Bathiya & Associates follows Amarchand Mangaldas with 5 deals valued at $3.1 billion beating AZB & Partners, which is placed third with 11 deals valued at only $1.7 billion, almost half of PH Bathiya’s deal value..One of the bigger deals on which both Amarchand Mumbai and PH Bathiya worked include Dilip Shanghvi’s acquisition of a 23 per cent stake in Suzlon Energy for an equity investment of 1,800 crore ($288 million).
