The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the appointment of three judicial officers as judges of the Himachal Pradesh High Court.

The persons recommended are Chirag Bhanu Singh, Bhupesh Sharma and Yogesh Jaswal.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Collegium held on June 2.

The Himachal Pradesh High Court is currently functioning with 12 judges as against its sanctioned strength of 17.
