Dua Associates has selected Legora for deployment across its practice groups and eight offices following a structured and hands-on pilot programme.

The rollout follows an evaluation of multiple legal AI platforms. Dua Associates selected Legora for both the strength of its technology and the collaborative implementation approach demonstrated during the pilot phase. Working closely with lawyers across practice areas, the process focused on identifying practical use cases, building familiarity through direct training, and integrating AI into day-to-day legal workflows.

Dua Associates is now using Legora across legal research, document review, drafting, and matter-specific agentic workflows. The decision reflects a deliberate and measured approach to AI adoption.

Speaking on the development, C. R. Dua, Chairman, Dua Associates, said,

“AI adoption in a law firm cannot be treated merely as a software deployment exercise. It has to earn the confidence of lawyers through practical application on real work. What stood out about Legora was the combination of platform capability, responsiveness, and the hands-on manner in which their team engaged with our practice groups. From the early stages of the pilot, we saw strong engagement from our lawyers as they tested use cases, challenged the technology, and identified areas where it could add value. That gave us the confidence to move from evaluation to a broader rollout across practice groups and offices.”

Amit Kothiyal, Head of India, Legora, added,

“We are excited to partner with Dua Associates in this next phase of its technology journey. We believe legal AI adoption in India will increasingly be shaped by firms that combine innovation with rigour and a practical understanding of how lawyers work. India is a strategic market for Legora, given the sophistication and scale of legal work here. The level of engagement we saw from Dua Associates during the pilot phase reflects the growing maturity and seriousness with which Indian law firms are approaching AI adoption.”
