Anand & Anand promotes 6 to partnership; Four from IP team, two from Litigation

IP law firm Anand and Anand has promoted six of its Managing Associates to partnership; two from the litigation team and four from the IP team taking the total number of partners at the firm to 19. The partnership is effective from April 1, 2013.

The firm has promoted Dhruv Anand and Shrawan Chopra to partnership, both of whom are part of the litigation team.

The other four newly promoted partners, all from the IP team, are Madhu Rewari, Revanta Mathur, Sandhya Singh and Swati Sharma, who are part of the the Trademarks, Contractual and Commercial IP Department.

Both Madhu and Dhruv are graduates of Amity Law School. Dhruv started his career with Anand and Anand in 2007 while Shrawan is a graduate of Delhi University. Revanta is a graduate of Indraprastha University and focuses on Trademark laws along with Madhu. Sanghya is a graduate of the Army Institute of Law. She joined Anand and Anand in 2007 prior to which she was working with Bajpai & Co.

The Partnership board in a joint statement said, “The newly designated Partners have built up extensive experience and knowledge within their specialist areas and on behalf of the firm.”

Last year, the firm had promoted Managing Associates Dr Neeti Wilson, Vaishali Mittal and Vidisha Garg to partnership.
