Emerald Law Offices expands to Bengaluru; Aditi Lodha joins as Partner in Real Estate practice

Apart from bolstering the real estate practice, the firm has also augmented the IP and Data Protection practices by onboarding one Counsel each in the respective practice areas

Emerald Law Offices has inaugurated a new office in Bengaluru. This move follows the appointment of Aditi Lodha as Partner.

Lodha is a 2004 graduate of the Jai Narain Vyas University. She has an LLM in Human Rights from the same university in 2006.

With a career spanning about 19-years in real estate regulatory affairs, land acquisition, legal compliance, and dispute resolution, her experience is expected to augment the firm's Real Estate practice across India.

The firm also onboarded Priyanka E, Anmol Saxena and Akshat Shonak as Counsels across practice areas.

Priyanka E assumes the role of Counsel in the Firm's Real Estate practice.

Priyanka is a 2016 graduate of JSS Law College.

With a proven track record in the Karnataka Real Estate sector, characterized by her negotiation and advisory skills, her expertise encompasses diverse real estate ventures. This includes residential, commercial, warehouses, townships, and renewable energy projects. She joins the firm in the Real Estate practice after a successful tenure with Tatva Legal and Saraf & Partners.

The Firm has taken another significant step in growing its Data Protection practice by welcoming Akshat Shonak to the team.

Shonak earned his LLM in Information Technology Law from the King's College London in 2020.

Shonak brings with him expertise as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E). His prior experience as the Data Protection Officer at Privasee, a leading GDPR compliance consultancy, as well as his pivotal role as a member of the Data Protection Team at Saraf & Partners, is poised to add substantial value to the Firm. In the past, he has been recipient of the distinguished Davis Fellowship for Peace, USA.

The firm strengthens it’s Intellectual Property Rights practice with Anmol Saxena joining Emerald Law Offices as a Counsel.

Saxena is a 2018 graduate of the Amity Law School. He is currently pursuing his LLM in Intellectual Property Rights from the National Law University, Delhi

With hands-on experience in contentious trademark and copyright matters, brand licensing, and IP due diligence across various sectors, Saxena contributes a wealth of knowledge and prowess. Prior to joining the Firm, he has worked in the IPR teams at Saraf & Partners and Daswani & Daswani.
