HSA Advocates promotes Harvinder Singh to partnership; Promotes 2 to Associate Partner level

HSA Advocates has promoted Partner Designate Harvinder Singh to partnership with effect from April 1, 2013. The firm has also promoted two of its Senior Associates Mohit D. Ram from the Delhi office and Rajesh Pathania from the Mumbai office to Associate Partner level taking the total number of partners and associate partners to 15 across all offices.

Harvinder is part of the Corporate M&A practice group in Delhi and has been with the firm since 2009. Prior to joining HSA, he was working with erstwhile Fox Mandal Little. Harvinder is also a member of the Institute of Company Secretaries in India. His areas of specialization include M&A, real estate structuring, project financing, and capital market transactions

Rajesh joined the firm in 2011 and is part of the corporate M&A practice group.  He has previously worked at Trilegal and Nishith Desai Associates. He is a graduate of Cardiff University. His areas of focus are private equity, structuring transactions, funds (including DTAA related advisory), M&A on the transactional side and general corporate advisory.

Mohit is part of the litigation team in Delhi. He moved to HSA along with Meenakshi Arora in April 2011 when she joined the firm as a Partner to head the litigation practice at HSA.

The firm has also promoted Associates Nilesh Chandra, Rahul Kumar, Shri Venkatesh, and Monali Dutta to Senior Associate level. On the managerial side, VP Jayamon, the Firm Manager has been promoted to become the Chief Operating Officer of the firm. 

Recently, Salman Waris had left the firm to join Seth Dua Associates, and head its’ TMT and IP practice.
