Titus chased an impressive score of 167 runs hit by the Saikrishna team. Partner Vibhu Shankar, captain of the Titus team, told Bar & Bench, “Both teams played very well. The last over was very crucial, we needed 7 runs from 6 balls. It came down to the last 2 balls, in which we needed 3 runs. We made 2 runs in the penultimate ball and made one run in the final ball to win the match.”

He added, “It truly was a great final. I am proud of my team. It was evident on the field that we implemented all the plans that we had discussed in the locker room.”

Sidharth Chopra, captain of the Saikrishna & Associates team, said, “We thoroughly enjoyed the match. It was a nail-biting finish. It was exciting for the players as well as the audience.”

Titus & Co walked away as the undoubted champions of the tournament. In addition to bagging the winner’s trophy, the awards for Man of the Match, Man of the Series and Best Bowler also went to Titus. Despite having proved their sporting prowess, however, it appears Titus will not be participating in the upcoming 7-a side inter law firm soccer tournament.
