The Union Public Service Commission declared the results of the civil services exam 2015 on May 10 this year. A total of 1078 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the central civil services, out of which we have identified twenty law graduates so far.
Misha Singh (AIR 64) is a graduate of RMLNLU, Lucknow. This farmer’s daughter successfully cleared the exam in her third attempt. Rahul Ratnam Pandey (AIR 590), also from RMLNLU, made it to the merit list.
Sheema Nabi Qasba (AIR 209), who hails from the Kashmir Valley and one of ten candidates from J&K to qualify this year, studied law from NLU Jodhpur. Two more from NLU Jodhpur, Prateeti Goyal (AIR 470) and Alok Chaturvedi (AIR 561) have qualified this year.
NLSIU grad Shashank Reddy (AIR 240) qualified, as did Priytosh (AIR 495). Farha Hussain (AIR 267), a graduate of GLC Mumbai. The 26-year old from Rajasthan cracked the exam in her second attempt.
Nivedita Naidu, a 2013 graduate from NLIU Bhopal secured a rank of 159 and her fellow alumna Rhea Joshi secured a rank of 425. Shriya Gupta (AIR 481) from GNLU, Gandhinagar and Nidhi Barad (AIR 887) from NLU Jodhpur, qualified this year.
Up north, Karan Choudhary from NLU Delhi secured a rank of 769 and Vinod Kumar Meena of RGNUL Punjab secured an All India Rank of 1052.
Chandan Prakash Pandey (AIR 462) of CNLU Patna cleared the exam in his second attempt. Noor Shergill (AIR 510), from the Symbiosis Pune 2014 batch also featured on the list.
Three graduates of the Army Institute of Law in Mohali – Gaurav Garg (AIR 320), Deepak Chaudhary (AIR 681), and Abhishek Kumar Bansal (AIR 493), from the 2014 batch – also appeared in the merit list.
Sanjhi Jain of NALSAR secured AIR 579.
