The schedule of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2012 has been released on the CLAT website, along with other details. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 13, 2012 and the organizing university is National Law University, Jodhpur.
Currently, there are 14 National Law Universities participating in the CLAT including the recently established institutes at Orissa, Ranchi and Assam.
The pattern of the question paper along with the marks allotted to each section has been provided on the website. A brief outline of the subject matter that will be covered under these sections has also been illustrated. The paper for the 5 year integrated undergraduate programme will feature 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each, and will be divided into five sections namely English including comprehension, General Knowledge, Mathematics, Logical Reasoning and Legal Aptitude.
According to the website, the brochures for the exam will be available from January 2 onwards, and further details regarding the registration process will be updated on the same shortly. Further details can be accessed on the CLAT website.
