DNLU, Jabalpur wins its first National Moot Court Competition

Dharamshastra National Law University, Jabalpur has won its first National Moot Court Competition organized by Indian Institute of Legal Studies, Siliguri.

A Team Comprising of Ms. Gauri Rajpurohit, Ms. Devyani Sahu and Ms. Kanishka Singh (all three from the 2024 batch) won the 5th IILS National Moot Court Competition, 2021.

125 teams from across the country participated for the memorial evaluation rounds and top 32 teams were selected after the same followed by Preliminary Rounds, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals & Final Round.

The judges of the Final Round were Adv. Sudipto Mazumder, (Assistant Solicitor General of India), Adv. Aditi Shanker Chakraborty (Additional Public Prosecutor, Circuit Bench, Calcutta High Court), and Adv. Srijib Chakraborty (Senior Advocate, Calcutta High Court).

The competition had participation from major National Law Universities and other reputed institutes. The team won all their rounds in the span of two days to be adjudged as winners of the competition.
