The National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore completed another round of successful placements for the Class of 2012. The graduating batch consisted of 65 students out of which 51 opted to sit for placements. The Recruitment Coordination Committee was successful in securing placements for 46 students.
Among the recruiters, while Luthra came up as the largest recruiter with 13 students, Khaitan, AMSS and Trilegal followed up with 5, 4 and 3 students respectively.
Herbert Smith bagged 3 students and was the biggest recruiter among foreign firms. McKinsey, and Allen & Overy were the other international recruiters. Each of the firms recruited two students.
Other prominent recruiters included Nishith Desai Associates, Crawford Bayley, Majmudar & Partners, and ICICI.
Apart from these, 6 students have opted for litigation and another 6 have opted for civil and judicial services examinations. Four students would be pursuing their master degrees while one student would be pursuing a judicial clerkship.
