#RecTracker: 30 students placed in NLU J’s Class of ’17 [Updated]

Two weeks after the University’s day-zero was held, the National Law University, Jodhpur has released the placement figures for the Class of 2017.
A total of 30 students have been placed, out of the 49 students who participated in the day-zero recruitment process held on April 7 this year.

These offers resulted in the placement of 16 students, in addition to the 14 PPO’s already offered. The PPO’s were offered by CAM, SAM, Luthra & Luthra, Khaitan & Co, Trilegal and Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan.

The NLU-J press release notes that two students had also been offered Vacation Schemes by Herbert Smith Freehills, and Linklaters. It also states,

“These figures are in line with the University’s performance on Day Zero last year, when the Batch of 2016 had a total number of 31 students placed on Day Zero, having secured 13 pre-placement offers and 18 jobs on Day Zero.”
