As many as five graduates of National Law University, Delhi and four from NALSAR, Hyderabad have cleared the 2017 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Examination.
Saumya Sharma of NLU Delhi ranked ninth in her first attempt at the examination, while Vikramaditya Singh Malik of NALSAR, who also holds a degree from Oxford University, bagged the 48th rank.
Another NLU Delhi graduate, Aditya Vikram Yadav, secured the 72nd rank. He had also cleared the 2016 examination. The other NLU Delhi grads to have cleared the exam are Kavya Tangirala at 381, Ritiraj at 583, and Karan Choudhary at 821.
The other three NALSAR graduates to have cleared the exam are Utsav Prasar (AIR 367), Himani Sharma (AIR 477) and P Promoth (AIR 791).
Tapasya Parihar from ILS, Pune secured the 23rd rank.
Aanchal Dala from 2014 batch of NUJS, Kolkata has secured the 136th rank.
Two graduates from National Law University, Jodhpur also cleared the exam. Preetesh Raman Singh secured the 205th rank, while Jayantika Singh secured the 286th rank.
The other candidates with a law background to have cleared the exam include Syed Imran Masood at 190th rank, who graduated from Lucknow University, and Shahid Ahmed at 695th rank, a graduate of Campus Law Centre, Delhi University.
