Classifieds: National Institute for Smart Government hiring Policy Analysts (2-3 yrs PQE) for Delhi

The National Institute for Smart Government is looking to hire three Policy Analysts with 2-3 years of work experience for the National Internet Exchange of India (NIXI) in Delhi.

The NIXI is a not for profit organization  with seed funding from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NIXI is working on:

• Internet Exchanges

• IN Registry and Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs)

• National Internet Registry (NIR)

Job Description: 

• This requires the candidate to be working with the Government and be involved in policy research and analysis on internet governance related areas.

• The candidate will be responsible for studying and analyzing and writing policy documents of global Internet Governance and Technology related issues, summarize and analyze them and convert it into usable knowledge, assist in all aspects of the planning / organization of Internet Governance related events like ICANN, IGF, WSIS etc.,

Job Qualification & Minimum requirements

• Have a bachelor’s degree in law.

• Minimum 2 – 3 years of experience in cyber laws / public policy.

Awareness and understanding of Public Policy issues pertaining to global Internet Governance, technology and governance related regulations, policies and procedures.

Number of Openings : 3

Remuneration Offered: 

₹ 600,000 to 900,000 per annum (excluding bonus and other benefits)
