Aéroports de Paris S.A., an international airport operator based in Paris, is acquiring 49 percent stake in GMR Airports for INR 10,780 crore in two tranches.
The second tranche of the transaction is subject to approvals from regulatory authorities. The first tranche of Rs. 5,248 crore will be received by GMR Group immediately, which will be utilised to deleverage the Group's massive debt, reported Mint.
