Advocate Arjun Vinod Bobde appointed Additional Advocate General to represent Chhattisgarh Government in SC

A notification to this effect was issued by the Chhattisgarh Government on August 13. Advocate Bobde is Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde's nephew. His father, Vinod Arvind Bobde was a Senior Advocate.

Advocate Arjun Vinod Bobde has been appointed as an Additional Advocate General to represent the Chhattisgarh Government in the Supreme Court of India.

A notification issued by the Chhattisgarh Government on August 13, states that Advocate Bobde has been appointed as "Additional Advocate General for the State of Chhattisgarh for conducting cases relating to Chhattisgarh in the Supreme Court of India, New Delhi from the date he assumes charge of his office."

Commenting on his new appointment, Advocate Bobde said, "It is a responsibility and an honor, and I will do my best to make my late father, Vinod Arvind Bobde, Senior Advocate even more proud."

Advocate Bobde is a fourth-generation lawyer. He is the nephew of Chief Justice of India, SA Bobde. His father, Vinod Arvind Bobde was a Senior Advocate.
