Bombay High Court to take urgent matters via Video Conferencing [Read Notice]

After the Bombay High Court decided to restrict its functioning to minimise risking the spread of the Coronavirus, it has now notified that it would take up urgent matters via video conferencing as well.

Justice AK Menon will be hearing urgent matters via video conferencing on all working days between 1 and 2 pm everyday, the notice states.

It is further informed that advocates and parties in person may mention urgent matters through the unit installed in Court Room No.16-B, or they may join the video conference room remotely from their office or home using the link and PIN to be shared with them on the e-mail ID provided by them.

To avail the service, a software "Vidyo" has to be installed on the computer/smartphone. The same may be downloaded via Google smartphone from Google Playstore. For computer systems, the download link may be obtained by contacting the Telephone No. 22673619 for obtaining the link and PIN between 11.30 am and 2 pm.
