Centre notifies appointment of three judges to Karnataka High Court [Read Notification]

The Central government has notified the appointment of three lawyers as Additional Judges of Karnataka High Court today.

The three new appointments are:

Maralur Indrakumar Arun

Engalaguppe Seetharamaiah Indiresh

Ravi Venkappa Hosmani

The newly appointed Judges will continue in their post for a period of two years from the date they assume charge. The names of Advocates Arun and Indiresh were recommended by the Collegium on March 25 last year along with the names of six other lawyers. However, Advocate Hosmani was recommended by the Collegium on October 4 along with 7 other names.
