Juris Corp Partner Vandana Sekhri has resigned from the firm to explore other exciting opportunities. The resignation will be effective from January 31, 2012.

Juris Corp Partner Vandana Sekhri has resigned from the firm to explore other exciting opportunities. The resignation will be effective from January 31, 2012.

In the press release Vandana says, “Juris Corp is a great place to work and grow and the experience has been  enriching and valuable ……moving on has been a difficult decision, however I have decided to explore other opportunities”.

Her core practice areas are Joint Ventures, Private Equity, Structured Finance and Securities laws. Vandana has previously worked with Desai & Diwanji.

Speaking to Bar & Bench Vandana said, “I have not finalized anything as yet. I am still evaluating my options as to what I want to do”.

Founder Partner H. Jayesh, in a statement said, “She is a terrific lawyer and adept at handling complex transactions. She will make her mark in whatever she does next and we wish her great success”.

Last year, Juris Corp as part of its expansion plan had absorbed AM Law with the practice of qualified Bombay Solicitor and Founding Partner Mustafa Motiwala along with his team of 6 lawyers.

In April, 2011 another Parter Huzefa Nasikwala had left Juris Corp to start his independent practice.
