Breaking: Plea in Supreme Court seeking Test Centres for NEET in foreign countries or to postpone the exam till COVID-19 subsides

On June 30, a plea for the same filed by Abdul Azees, general secretary, Kerala Muslim Culture Centre, Qatar, was rejected by a Kerala High Court Bench comprising of Chief Justice S Manikumar and Justice Shaji P Chaly.

A plea has been filed in the Supreme Court by the parents of students who are applicants for the NEET UG 2020 settled in Doha, Qatar, challenging the Kerala High Court's dismissal of a plea for allotment of NEET centres overseas or the exam's postponement untill the COVID epidemic passes.

A petition seeking directions to this end to the Centre and the National Testing Agency (NTA) moved by Abdul Azeez, general secretary, Kerala Muslim Culture Centre, Qatar, was rejected by a High Court Division Bench of Chief Justice S Manikumar and Justice Shaji P Chaly yesterday.
