[PMLA] Bombay High Court refuses urgent hearing against trial court order releasing accused discharged in predicate offence

The order under challenge said that the PMLA court no longer had jurisdiction to extend judicial custody as per the Supreme Court judgment, since the accused had been discharged in the predicate offences against them.

The Bombay High Court on Wednesday refused the urgent listing of a plea by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) challenging an order of the the Special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court which released two accused from custody after they were discharged in the predicate offence.
