No Supreme Court for Dinakaran for now

As a result of the charges levelled against him, Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court, Justice P.D. Dinakaran has been ‘delinked’ from elevation to the Supreme Court. CJI K.G. Balakrishnan at the All India conference of the Central Administrative Tribunal told media persons, “We have only asked that the names of four other judges should be processed for their appointment as judges of the Supreme Court,” adding that the Supreme Court Collegium is yet to decide on the fate of Justice Dinakaran.
