Supreme Court seeks response from Bihar govt on plea against appointment of SK Singhal as DGP

The plea claimed that the appointment of Singhal as DGP was in complete violation of the 2006 judgment of the Supreme Court in Prakash Singh v. Union of India.

The Supreme Court on Monday sought the response of the State of Bihar on a plea challenging the appointment of SK Singhal as Director General of Police (DGP) of the State [Narendra Kumar Dhiraj v. State of Bihar].
