Call for Case Summaries for LawBhoomi’s Blog (Submit by 31 Aug)

LawBhoomi is a portal that provides information on the latest internships, jobs, legal opportunities, law notes, career guidance, study materials, and books for various exams. Apart from this, interviews and internship experiences help students explore more opportunities in law.

LawBhoomi welcomes submissions on case summaries. You can submit as many case summaries as you want. The case summaries will be published for FREE with due credits. The author of the best article of this month will be awarded ₹1000. The best authors will be offered internship opportunities.

Eligibility

The invitation is open to anyone interested.

Topic

The participants can submit case summaries of any landmark cases in India.

Perks

  1. The author of the best article of the month will be awarded ₹1000.

  2. All articles of publishable quality will be published.

  3. The articles will be published for free. There are no charges at any stage.

  4. The articles will be published with due credits.

  5. An author can submit as many articles as he/she wants.

  6. And finally, internship opportunity at LawBhoomi for the authors of well-written articles.

Guidelines For Contributions

  • All summaries must be submitted in English Language only.

  • The length of the summary shouldn’t be more than 2500 words.

  • Visit ‘Case Briefs’ section at LawBhoomi before selecting the case. Avoid writing on already existing case briefs.

  • Co-authorship is allowed.

  • All submissions shall be made to careers@lawbhoomi.com.

  • Details of the author(s) shall be provided in the body of the email.

Must have Headings in the Case Summary

  1. Mention the proper case title and the citation.

  2. Name of the Court, name of the judges and the parties.

  3. Brief facts

  4. Issues

  5. Important arguments (from both parties)

  6. Judgment

  7. Present status of the Judgment (whether still applicable or over-ruled)

  8. Conclusion, if any.
