Call for Papers- 7th Annual NLIU Law Review

The National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal is inviting papers for Volume 7 of its annual Law Review. The NLIU Law Review is an annual student-edited publication, which aims to promote a culture of scholarly research and academic writing by publishing articles on subjects of interest to the legal profession and academia.

The subject for written submissions this year is Data Protection. The theme is intended to focus on aspects such as the implications of the the rising prominence of data-oriented avenues of profit for private companies, emergence of big data in the context of national security and privacy concerns, strategies available to tackle the risks associated with such phenomena and the evolving needs of the information age.

Submission must be accompanied by a cover letter including the author’s name, email ID, mobile number and college name. Papers must also contain an abstract of 250-300 words, inclusive of the world limit. Co-authorship is permissible up to a maximum of two authors.

Submissions can be made in the following categories:

  • Articles: 5000-10000 words
  • Case Notes: 2000-5000 words
  • Legislative Comment: 1000-3000 words
  • Book Reviews: 1000-3000 words
