[UPDATE] 1st HPNLU National Moot Court Competition, 2020 postponed

The National Moot Court Competition hosted by the Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla that was earlier scheduled to be conducted this mont has been postponed until further notice.

The moot was earlier scheduled to be conducted between April 17-19. The event has not been postponed as a precautionary measure in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Further details regard the moot is as follows.

The National Moot Court Competition is an endeavour to offer law students an opportunity to develop skills which are crucial for growing into a successful lawyer and to expose them to the developing frontiers of law which shall help them to develop holistically.

ELIGIBILITY :

Faculty of Law/Law School/Universities are invited to participate in the1st HPNLU National Moot Court Competition, 2020 by registering on or before March 27, 2020. Only one team can register from one institution/college. Members of the team must be undergraduate students, pursing Bachelors of Law Degree (5-year integrated course or 3-year).

REGISTRATION:

All the participating institutions have to confirm participation by sending a duly filled Registration Form and the scanned copy of the ‘Demand Draft’ by email to mcc@hpnlu.ac.in on or before 27th March, 2020.

Since the post does not reach in time, the participating teams are required to carry their duly filled ‘Registration Form’ (hard copy), ‘Demand Draft’, and 05 copies of Memorials (hard copy) and shall be submitted at the registration Desk on April 17th, 2020.

The teams shall solely be responsible for non-submission of hard copy of registration form, Demand Draft or Memorials.

REGISTRATION FEES :

The participating Teams are required to pay INR 5,000/- as registration fees in the form of Demand Draft in favour of Registrar Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, payable at Shimla.
