Recovery of debts due to Banks and financial institutions has always been at the forefront or focus of many laws in India. This lecture will briefly cover that journey from RDDB Act to IBC and how with times various laws have evolved to help banks and financial institutions to recover their debts without compromising on the going-concern status of a corporate debtor. In one word, it's a journey from 'debtor in possession' to 'creditor in control'.
