NLSIU student allegedly commits suicide in hostel room

A third year student of National Law School of India University, Bangalore was found dead in her hostel room two days ago, as first reported by Deccan Herald.

Nishi Ankita Kujur, who hails from Jharkhand, was found hanging from a ceiling fan by her friends, according to the report.

Sources from the law school confirm that Nishi was suffering from chronic abdominal pain and had been admitted to the hospital on several occasions. Her ailment prevented her from attending classes. In her suicide note, she mentioned that she was not able to bear the pain any longer.
