TNNLU wins 8th National Moot Court Competition organized by SLS Hyderabad

The team from Tamil Nadu National Law University, Trichy comprising Medha Hebbar, Pratyusha Prasad and V Nivedita Raman won the 8th National Moot Court competition organized by Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad

As the winning team, they bagged a cash prize of ₹50,000/-. The team also won the Best Memorial award for which they received an additional cash prize of ₹15,000/-

The team from National Law Institute University, Bhopal comprising Yashvi Bansal, Chirag Saxena and Anushka Singh were the runners up and won a cash prize of ₹30,000/-

The other awards won at the competition were -

Best speaker: Jumana Raja (NMIMS Hyderabad) won a cash prize of ₹15,000/-

Second best speaker: Harshitha Adari (NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad) won a cash prize of ₹10,000/-

The final round was judged by Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel, Former Judge at the Supreme Court of India and Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal; Justice Rangaswamy Nataraj, Sitting Judge at the Karnataka High Court; Justice Ashok G Nijagannvar, Former Judge at the Karnataka High Court; Justice Seetharama Murthy, Former Judge at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana High Court
