Centre notifies appointment of five new judges to Madhya Pradesh High Court [Read Notification]

Madhya Pradesh High Court will get five new judges. The Central government today notified the appointment of advocate Sanjay Dwivedi and judicial officers Akhil Kumar Srivastava, Brij Kishore Shrivastava, Rajendra Kumar Srivastava and Mohammed Fahim Anwar.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended these five names on March 26 for elevation as High Court judges.

The Centre has now cleared all the five files in over two months.

The Madhya Pradesh High Court currently has a working strength of 33 as against a sanctioned strength of 53.
