Former Supreme Court judge, Justice V Khalid passed away. He was 95.

Justice Khaild graduated in law from Madras Law College and enrolled as advocate in 1948. He practiced in Cannanore, Tellicherry and Ernakulam before being elevated as a High Court judge in 1974. He was elevated to the Supreme Court in 1983 and retired from service on June 30, 1987.
