Haryana to get National Law University Admissions starting in 2015

The State of Haryana shall be getting its own National Law University after the State Legislature passed a bill to set up the University last year. The University shall be built over 25 acres of land at the Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonepat. Admissions to the University shall commence from the academic year 2015-2016.

As per this report, the State’s Education Minister, Geeta Bhukkal, said that the University shall be set up with a total cost of Rs. 190 crore and that Rs. 5 crore has been allotted for setting up of the University in the current fiscal
