Social media enables us to communicate and stay connected with family and friends around the world and find new friends and other people who share similar interests or ambitions.
However, multiple studies have found that a strong link exists between heavy social media usage and an increased risk for depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, and even suicidal thoughts.
In pursuance of all the above mentioned ideas the Centre for the Rights of Differently Abled (CRDA), Symbiosis Law School, Hyderabad is organizing a national webinar on, “Impact of Social Media on Mental Health” to be held on on August 8, 2020.
