[Press Release] National Law University Delhi Convocation: 330 students graduate

The National Law University Delhi, on 9 December, held the 8th Convocation where two batches of 80 students each from the undergraduate programme and two post graduate batches of 78 and 79 students each, received their degrees in law. 13 doctoral degrees were also awarded at the convocation. In total, 330 students graduated from these academic programmes..The convocation address was delivered by Chief Guest, Chief Justice of India N.V. Ramana. Present at the occasion was Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi as Special Guest of Honour. Justice D. N. Patel, Chief Justice, High Court of Delhi and Chancellor NLU Delhi conferred the degrees upon the students of BA.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D..The University conferred 45 gold medals and 9 cash prizes for the undergraduate programme and 12 gold medals for post graduate programme. Ms. Ayushi Agrawal who graduated from B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) 2015-2020 batch received 11 gold medals and two cash prizes followed by Ms. Sanjana Amar Ravjiani and Ms. Gaurika Khandelwal who got 5 and 3 gold medals, respectively. Mr. Nitin Tyagi from the same batch also received a gold medal and cash prize..From the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) 2016-2021 batch, Ms. Aishwarya Gupta bagged 7 gold medals and cash prize, Ms. Isha Gupta and Ms. Manisha Bhau got 4 medals each. Ms. Isha Gupta also won 2 cash prizes. Ms. Gauri Soni got 3 gold medals while Ms. Priya, Mr. Jeetu Tolani, Mr. Aditya Mittal and Mr. Kashish Singhal, got a medal each. Mr. Aditya Jindal, Ms. Gauri Soni and Priya also received cash prizes..A total of 8 gold medals were awarded by the Vice-Chancellor to LL.B. and LL.M. students..From LL.M. batch 2019-2020, Ms Rupam received 2 gold medals, Ms. Vinodharani S R, Mr. Arihant R Sungay, Ms. Iti Prajapati received a medal each. From LL.M. 2020-2021 batch, Ms. Isha Rai, Mr. Vishnu Sagar, Ms. Vidya Subramanian received a medal each..The Vice Chancellor congratulated Ms. Anupriya Dhonchak of B.A.,LL.B. (Hons.) batch of 2016-2021 for being awarded the prestigious Rhodes scholarship to study at the University of Oxford. Ms Dhonchak is the second student from NLU Delhi to have won the international scholarship, after Ms Rishika Sahgal, B.A.,LL.B. (Hons.) batch of 2010-2015.
