The National Law University, Jodhpur (NLU-J) has placed 61 out of the approximately 70 students who sat for recruitment from the Class of 2013. The total batch strength of the Class of 2013 is 90.
As per the official figures released by the NLU-J, out of the 61 placements, Amarchand Mangaldas tied with Trilegal as the year’s biggest recruiter with 8 hires each, with Majmudar and Partners hiring 6 students this year. Luthra & Luthra, which had hired 14 students of the Class of 2011 and 6 from the Class of 2012, did not make a single hire this year.
In addition to the 63 students placed, 12 students were selected for a judicial clerkship in the Supreme Court, 3 students are prepareing for the civil services, 9 have opted for a career in litigation while 5 students will be pursuing higher studies.

With respect to the Class of ’14, around 14 students have already been placed with Luthra offering 5 PPOs, Trilegal offering 5 jobs (including 4 Campus Placements), AMSS 3 jobs (including 2 Campus Placements) and JSA placing one student.
