#RecTracker: NLSIU 2016 batch achieves 100% placements; 37 opt for law firms

The 2016 graduating batch of NLSIU, Bangalore has placed all 47 students who sat for recruitment.

A majority of these – 37 students – have secured employment at law firms around the country, while 4 have been placed at international law firms.

Khaitan & Co. made 7 hires, followed by Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and AZB & Partners, with 6 each. Luthra & Luthra hired 5 students, whereas Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas and Trilegal made 4 hires each. Herbert Smith Freehills offered vacation schemes to 2 students, and Allen & Overy and Linklaters offered 1 each.

Two students joined ICICI Bank, whereas Deutsche Bank made 1 hire. One student has been offered a LAMP Fellowship.
