NovoJuris Legal is looking to hire associates and senior associates in Bengaluru with 3 - 4 years of PQE.

1. Associate/ Senior Associate: Fintech team and General Corporate advisory team. Technology/FinTech

• Candidates would be responsible for working in the areas of Technology Laws including GDPR, Data Protection, Technology Services Agreements, Fintech- RBI, NFC, etc.

• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a full range of commercial contracts, Service Level Agreements, Agreement related to Fintech Services, Software Agreements, NDAs etc.

• Provide advice and research related to cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy law and issues, including reviewing and drafting terms of use and privacy policies.

• Participate in creating and delivering training related to technology law matters and other relevant issues in specified areas of responsibility, as may be appropriate.

• Draft and negotiate banking and finance transactions.

• Strong experience and industry knowledge in laws related to Banking and Finance will be an added advantage, including good knowledge and experience of the RBI Act, the Banking Regulation Act, IRDA, FEMA among others.

No of positions: 2.

Location: Bangalore.

PQE: 3-4 years compulsory. Highly prefer prior experience with law firms.

2. Senior Associate: Corporate/M&A

• Candidates would be involved in matters related to Generate Corporate, M&A, PE, Venture financings, Due Diligence, Joint Venture, Banking & Finance and Restructuring, etc.

• Advising and assisting on various domestic as well as multi-national mergers and acquisitions.

• Assisting in transaction structuring, drafting transaction documents (term sheets, investment agreements, share subscription & shareholders agreements, closing documents to the transactions, etc.) and negotiations on the same.

• Advising various Indian and foreign companies, in relation to joint ventures transactions, including drafting and negotiation of the transaction documents, setting up of the JVC, regulatory applications/filings, advising on issues etc.

• Conducting legal, corporate, due diligence, issuance of legal opinions.

No of positions: 1.

Location: Bangalore.

PQE: 3-4 years compulsory. Candidate must have handled a minimum of 15 transactions independently.
