The Central government on Tuesday notified the appointment of two additional judges to the Bombay High Court..The two lawyers who have been cleared for appointment are:- Santosh Govindrao Chapalgaonkar;- Milind Manohar Sathaye.They have been appointed for a period of two years with effect from the date they assume charge as Additional judge of High Court..The lawyers were recommended for elevation by the Supreme Court collegium on September 12, 2022.As on November 1, the Bombay High Court is functioning at a strength of 66 judges as opposed to the sanctioned strength of 94 judges..[Read Notification]
