BCI to hold 24th qualifying exam for foreign law degree holders from July 15

The last date for submitting the application form, duly signed and scanned with self-attested copies of all documents, is June 25.

The Bar Council of India (BCI) will conduct the 24th qualifying examination for Indian nationals holding foreign law degrees from July 15 to July 21, 2026.

The examination will include six papers of 100 marks each, held on consecutive days from 11 AM to 2 PM. There will be no examination on Sunday, July 19.

No books, bare acts, or study material will be permitted for the first three papers - Constitution of India, Contract Law and Negotiable Instruments Act and Company Law.

For the remaining three papers, candidates can carry individual bare acts, provided they carry no annotations, notes, or markings. Books, guides and question-answer materials will not be allowed for any paper.

The last date for submitting the application form, duly signed and scanned with self-attested copies of all documents, is June 25, 2026. Forms are to be sent to acadcommitteebci@gmail.com, with the original dispatched by post to the BCI. Fee payment links will be shared after forms are assessed, and the deadline for fee payment is July 5, 2026.
