Bengaluru School of Law & Justice appoints Dr Jyotirmoy Banerjee as Principal and Assistant Academic Dean

The Bengaluru School of Law & Justice (SoLJ) has appointed Dr Jyotirmoy Banerjee as Principal and Assistant Academic Dean.

Dr Banerjee joins SoLJ after serving in academic leadership roles at Amity Law School, Bengaluru, and previously at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak and Vivekananda Global University.

His experience spans academic administration, curriculum design, regulatory compliance, legal scholarship and institutional development, with particular expertise in corporate and commercial law, securities regulation and legal education.

His appointment follows the recent appointments of Shruti Vidyasagar as Academic Dean and former National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal Vice-Chancellor (VC), Professor V Vijayakumar as Distinguished Professor.

As Principal and Assistant Academic Dean, Dr Banerjee will work closely with the School’s leadership to strengthen academic quality, faculty development, student engagement and institutional governance.
