

A cross-institutional team of law students from Jindal Global Law School (JGLS), National Law School University of India (NLSIU) and Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) has won the South Asia rounds of the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) International Arbitration Moot, 2026.
The South Asia rounds were hosted by Lloyd Law College, Greater Noida, from July 30 to August 2, 2026. It brought together 38 teams from India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The top 10 teams have qualified for the Global Rounds, to be held at the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA) in Shenzhen, China, from October 23 to 27, 2026.

In the Final Round, the team argued against Hidayatullah National Law University (HNLU), Nava Raipur. The arbitral tribunal comprised of Justice Tejas Karia of the Delhi High Court, Umasankar Yedla, Sameer Jain, Kapil Arora and Iram Majid.
