The Centre for Corporate Law & Governance (CCLG) at Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur is organizing its 2nd Corporate Law Summit 2026 on November 21 and 22, 2026, in virtual mode.

About the Conference

The gathering will bring together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students to present research, exchange insights, and engage in solutions to pressing legal challenges. Through panels, case studies, and interactive sessions, it will explore innovations in the IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026, CIRP, PIRP and many more. As per the University, participation would greatly enrich the dialogue and help shape the future of corporate law.

Conference Structure

A) Paper Presentation-The inaugural session will include a dedicated segment for paper presentations, affording law students, invited authors, academicians, practising lawyers, and subject‑matter experts the opportunity to share original research. Submissions have been invited addressing the diverse dimensions of the IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026, CIRP, PIRP and many more. These contributions are intended to deepen the discourse and shed light on practical, doctrinal, and policy challenges across these fields.

B) Panel Discussion- The IBC (Amendment) Act, 2026 marks an important development in India’s insolvency framework, seeking to strengthen the efficiency, predictability, and effectiveness of insolvency resolution. With significant implications for creditors, corporate debtors, resolution professionals, investors, and other stakeholders, the amendments raise important questions about the future direction of insolvency law in India.

This panel brings together experts from industry, academia, legal practice, and policy to examine the key reforms introduced by the Amendment Act, their practical implications, and the challenges likely to arise in their implementation. The discussion will explore how the evolving framework can balance speedy resolution, creditor protection, value maximisation, and the interests of corporate debtors and other stakeholders, while strengthening India’s broader insolvency ecosystem.
