The Lapidary Foundation has invited meritorious law students from Kashmir to apply for its 12-month Lapidary Foundation Fellowship.

The Lapidary Foundation is a not-for-profit trust that offers fellowships and training opportunities for law students, particularly students from conflict-impacted regions of India.

The Lapidary Foundation Fellowship focuses on providing the necessary and desirable technical expertise to make the students world-class lawyers.

Aimed at bringing systemic change in disadvantaged environments, the fellowship ensures students are brought into the mainstream and create a more cohesive, sensitised, and equitable society.

What does the program offer?

- 180 hours of training through a hybrid mode of classes.

- Interactions with industry experts, enabling exposure to a world outside of regular communities.

- Personalized mentorship and career guidance.

- 60+ hours of face-to-face interactions and personalised communication.

- Access to high-quality internships with the objective of placements with prominent players in the legal market.

Who can apply?

The Lapidary Foundation Fellowship is open to 3rd to 5th-year BA.LL.B students from the University of Kashmir, Central University of Kashmir, Kashmir Law College, Vitasta School of Law and Humanities, KCEF Law College, and Sopore Law College.

- BA. LL.B students in their 4th semester are also eligible.

- LL.B students in their 6th semester are not eligible.
