RMLNLU wins 2nd DSNLU Vis pre-moot

A team from Ram Manohar Lohia National Law University (RMLNLU), Lucknow has won the 2nd Damodaram Sanjivayya National Law University (DSNLU) Vis pre-moot, 2026.

The team comprised Maanya Kocher, Archita Garg, Nikita Bansal, Aman Anand, Kaivalya Sharma, Abia Usmani, Akshat Raj and Akshat Gaur.

A team from Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) comprising Dhruv Madan, Devansh Desai, Abhinandan Adhikari, Aniq Jiwani, Kashvi Choudhary, and Shravya Nargotra emerged as the runners-up team.

Maharashtra National Law University, Mumbai, Nazifa Khateeb won the Best Speaker award.

The moot problem dealt with issues under the Singapore International Arbitration Centre Rules on applicable rules, third-party funding. The other issues were of exemption of liability and calculation of damages under the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
