The Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur (HNLU) is organising a two-day International Conference on the theme, Constitution@75: Evolving Text, Context & Transformations – Rights, Governance & Technology in Focus.
The event is scheduled to be held on January 25-26, 2025 and will focus on the text of the Constitution of India, its dynamic interpretations and its response to issues of governance, rights, and technological advancements.
The conference will also feature a keynote address, parallel technical sessions, and a special Dr BR Ambedkar Memorial Lecture.
As part of the event, HNLU is also inviting original research papers from academicians, practitioners, students, and researchers.
Eligibility
Academicians, legal professionals, policymakers, researchers, and students from diverse disciplines are invited to participate in the conference.
Themes and Sub-Themes
Participants are invited to submit papers addressing one or more of the following sub-themes:
The Living Constitution: Interpretative journeys and evolving constitutional text.
Governance and Rights: Balancing federalism, judicial reflections, and legislative dynamics.
Inclusivity and Social Justice: Gender equality, LGBTQ+ rights, caste, class, and religion.
Technology and Governance: Data privacy, cybersecurity, and the digital divide.
Comparative Perspectives: Indian Constitution and global frameworks.
Future Directions: Fundamental rights in the AI era and environmental justice.

The best three research papers will be awarded a Certificate of Merit.
