DMHSL to organize panel discussion at intra law fest Ignis Juris: Registrations open

DM Harish School of Law (DMHSL), HSNC University, Mumbai is organizing a panel discussion themed 'The Practical Aspects and Pitfalls of Arbitration in India and the Way Forward' on February 21, 2026 as part of their intra law fest Ignis Juris.

The panel discussion will feature Senior Advocate Janak Dwarkadas, Senior Advocate Haresh Jagtiani, Senior Partner, Bharucha & Partners, Hiroo Advani, Managing Partner, DSK Legal, Anand Desai.

The session will be moderated by Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India, Dr Dhruti Kapadia.

The panel discussion will be held in Hiro Sitaldas Punwani Convocation Hall, HSNC University, Mumbai on Saturday, 21, 2026.

The panel discussion is open to law students, litigators, corporate counsel aspirants, and arbitration enthusiasts. Registration is mandatory for event.

Ignis Juris was inaugurated on February 16, 2026 by Vice-Chancellor, HSNC University, Col Dr Hemlata K Bagla, she remarked,

“A law school must not only teach the law, it must create intellectual spaces where students test their convictions, sharpen their reasoning and learn to stand by their arguments with integrity. Ignis Juris reflects exactly that spirit.”

After over forty years in Law, I can say with conviction that advocacy is an art built on preparation and presence. Such initiatives teach students to think on their feet, listen carefully and respond with precision, skills that no textbook can impart.”

Ignis Juris featured competitions ranging from debates and law dramas to client counselling, case law presentations and a ‘Letter to the Chief Justice’ challenge.
